My ultimate goal is to help as many people as I can, to make a difference.
I have a wide range of experiences – science, research, managing teams of volunteers or fellow team members (virtually and non), email marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), writing & editing, and more!
I’m also incredibly passionate about sustainable living, to ensure that we take care of our planet.
I’m a diverse individual that thinks outside of the box – I have many interests and passions, and love to give my all to every project.
As a life-long learner, I pick things up quickly, and have an insatiable thirst for knowledge. This has served me well over the years!

Background
After getting my PhD in biological sciences from Louisiana State University, I worked for a few years as a postdoctoral scholar at Michigan State University. My scientific background ranges from biochemistry, environmental biology, ecology, and back again – the common themes are microbiology and molecular biology.
When I realized that academia was no longer the right fit for me – I moved on to work in industry and never looked back.
Experience
I love to learn and am constantly learning as much as I can. I have experience in digital marketing, email marketing, demand generation, brand building, and more.
Leadership
I have a natural instinct to advocate for others. I love to help people, and am always working to lead by example.
As a leader, I’m of the opinion that there are no stupid questions – every asked question leads to better understanding the situation and current challenges team members are facing.
